From the heart of Mizoram, Evenflow brings the blues to Cairo. 🎶
Established in 2008, Evenflow is a pioneering blues band from Mizoram and the region’s only traditional blues band, with roots deeply embedded in the genre. Their soulful performances have taken them across Northeast India, building a devoted audience and earning the band recognition from All India Radio Shillong, which awarded them the Radio Grade “B” High Artist title in 2013.
Their journey reached a wider audience when vocalist Chali won Best Vocalist at Mizoram’s YMA Beat Contest in 2017. A performance of Bob Dylan’s “Everything Is Broken” later went viral, bringing millions of views and helping introduce Evenflow to audiences across India. In 2024, the band performed at the Mahindra Blues Festival in Mumbai.
Now, with a new 8-track blues album exploring self-love and heartbreak, Evenflow has returned with renewed energy—and their inclusion in Rolling Stone India’s Future of Music 2026 marks them among the voices shaping India’s evolving music scene.
