Tarneem Etman is part of a new generation of Egyptian musicians reshaping the indie-Arab sound through a deeply personal musical language.
A multi-instrumentalist, singer, and independent producer, Tarneem brings together the rich sound of Middle Eastern strings with atmospheric electronic production and indie-pop sensibilities. At the heart of her sound is the Saz, which she uses to create intimate musical storyscapes where traditional textures meet contemporary production.
With singles such as Mestahweyani and Ehki Ya Tairi, Tarneem has been steadily building her audience while developing a sound distinctly her own. Her artistic journey also brought her to the She Arts Festival Music Competition, where she became a finalist and performer.
Now, she returns to She Arts to share the sound she has been shaping — intimate, atmospheric, and rooted in both heritage and experimentation.
