She Arts Festival presents a special Tribute to Hany Shenouda, celebrating the life, innovation, and lasting musical legacy of one of Egypt’s most influential composers, arrangers, and musicians.
From founding Al Massrieen and reshaping Egyptian music with psychedelic rock, funk, disco, and electronic sounds, to discovering and shaping the early careers of Mohamed Mounir and Amr Diab, Shenouda’s work became part of the soundtrack of generations. His unmistakable musical language also transformed Egyptian cinema, leaving an enduring mark on films such as El Mashbouh, Al-Hareef, and Shams El Zanaty.
This special She Arts production brings his groundbreaking repertoire into a new, female-led musical experience — connecting generations while honoring a legacy that continues to inspire
