Carol Ackad is an actor, dancer and improvisation artist. She graduated from the full time three years program at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center in 2020. Carol has been a member of Dawar PlayBack Troupe since 2017. She has participated in performances such as" Hoop om on ay" by Nicolas Cantillon (MAAT production) , "We are coming back after everybody" by Amina Abou El Ghar(MAAT production) , "birds murmuration" by Stop Gap (Dcaf) . Carol has created her first piece"On this this day" with Ahmed Malek for the CCDC dance Platform. Her second piece, "What the hell am I doing here? " received a grant from AFAC in August 2021 and premiered in Rawabet Art Space on June 8th 2022 and has been touring since then in Africa and the Middle east.
